WNBA star Cameron Brink exposes unknown side of superstar Kawhi Leonard
Vincent Carchietta-USA TODAY Sports

One of the most interesting personalities in the NBA is the Los Angeles Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard. The star is famous for his amazing talent but, more importantly, for his unique nature. Leonard is usually a quiet person in front of the cameras, but many around him have stated that the forward is in fact funny. Including the Los Angeles Sparks’ newest star Cameron Brink.

The 2024 WNBA draftee Cameron Brink recently joined a fellow LA star Paul George on his show, Podcast P with Paul George. The athletes touched on many topics, including George’s teammate Kawhi Leonard. As Brink and Leonard have met each other due to their partnership with brand New Balance, the 22-year-old shared an unknown side of Leonard.

Funniest part though is Kawhi. And he is funny as s**t. All the New Balance guys, like our head marketing guy was like 'we haven't seen anybody make him laugh more than you'. So I was like 'give me my flowers'. Cameron Brink said

Brink revealed that she made the Clippers star laugh and even imitated his famous laugh. The WNBA rookie praised Leonard’s dry humor as she compared him to comedian Aubrey Plaza. Brink and George were in sync as both agreed on Leonard’s fantastic humor and efficient character.

The Sparks star is from the incredible batch of 2024 as she was selected as the second overall pick in the draft. The rookie had a decent debut as the player is lacking offensively. However, Brink is making it up by performing on the opposite side of the court.

Cameron Brink gifted North West a pair of Steph Curry’s shoes

Brink’s debut for the regular season was highly anticipated, as many stars were present at the Walter Pyramid arena. One significant name was the WNBA’s recent partner for Skims, Kim Kardashian. The reality TV star attended the game with her daughter North West, who received a special gift from Brink.

As Brink is the god-sister of NBA superstar Stephen Curry, she gifted North a pair of his shoes knowing that the 10-year-old is a fan of the Golden State Warriors shooter. Brink also gave her jersey to North as she shared the wholesome story on Podcast P.

North is a sweetheart. I gave her a pair of shoes, I actually gave her a pair of Steph’s shoes, people don’t know that. Because she is a huge Steph fan. It was nice, Steph got her some shoes, and she was really happy. I gave her my jersey, I was like, sorry, this is not as cool as Steph's shoes. Cameron Brink said

After a rocky start in the first two games, the Sparks need to find their rhythm and get the first win. Despite the team’s Tuesday matchup, all eyes will be set on Friday, as the No. 1 and No. 2 draft picks will face each other as Brink will play against the Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark .
